This project centered on a comprehensive chimney rebuilding and copper flashing restoration. First, the team evaluated the failing mortar and cracked concrete crown. These defects allowed significant water infiltration into the home. Subsequently, we dismantled the damaged upper brick courses. We then rebuilt the structure using high-quality masonry units to ensure long-term stability. In addition, the team poured a new, overhanging concrete wash to shed water away from the chimney. Finally, we installed custom-fabricated copper flashing at the roofline. This provides a durable, weather-tight seal and a classic finish that protects the chimney for years to come.
